Update

Gah! How did it get to be summer already? I'm feeling totally overwhelmed and walloped by money/work stuff, family drama & a household that just added 2 new members (without decreasing my own rent one penny, for the record). I'm scrambling to stay on top of everything and really wish I had a helper. Someone to take photos and videos of me or do all the photo/video editing would be a dream. A webmaster that could help me take care of all the site stuff so I could just focus on replying to emails and doing new shoot requests? Heaven! Ahhh...but I'm dreaming.

Since there is just one of me, I've been reading all of your emails, but have been slack on getting the replies sent out. I did get a chance to shoot today though & I think you're really going to love the video. Lots of dirty talk!

I'll be busy editing pics tonight and hopefully get the video rendering before I go to sleep. I better brew some more coffee...in for a long night!

  • Hehe - that sounds just like a "help wanted" ad to me! :-) If I were based in Seattle, I'd happily volunteer for all the tasks you listed, but living overseas, I'm afraid it's going to remain a dream... A nice dream, though :-)

    PS. As to archiving your Camz shows in higher quality; isn't it possible to use your normal video camera with an USB or Firewire connection for your shows instead of a dedicated "we cam", and just stuff a tape in there and let it roll while you play? :-)

  • I don't seem to be able to connect using my video camera. I don't know if their software can't handle the HD cam or what, but the firewire method is not detected at all.

    I'll have to keep testing though because I would like some of those moment recorded. I've had some pretty kinky shows! lol

  • I can't remember which HD cam you bought, but I have had a few Sony (SD) cams that could be used in USB mode with a computer - never tried it, but there was a "USB stream"-mode in a menu somewhere. You were even supposed to be able to transmit pre-recorded vidoes from tape to USB this way.. Hm. Maybe I'll have to try and dig out the manuals.. Anyway; if you have a Sony, that function may be there somewhere! :-)

    I don't think there are any Firewire webcams around (at least not many), so I'm not surprised that the software doesn't support or look for FW cams.

    Hope you find a solution - would love to see your shows in higher quality. Tried to watch some at Camz, and though the shows are GREAT, the quality of sound and vid is disappointing. You deserve better! :-)
