Over/Under
It's only Wednesday, but so far here's the plus and minus tally for my week:
+ I went to a really fun dance class this week that had me learning the dance moves from a Justin Timberlake song. It was cheesy, but super fun and definitely a good workout. And my instructor was yummy. I'll definitely be back for his time slot. :)
+ The crisp weather and lack of funds has inspired me to bake homemade oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. They turned out DELICIOUS. Extra points for being cheaper than the store bought alternative.
- My cookies were a little too delicious. They're gone already and have totally counteracted any positive effects from the dance class.
- My ADD and disorganization made putting together my insurance claim a huge pain in the ass.
+ My completely anal ability to force myself to stay up for hours upon hours in a row to make something perfect resulted in a fantabulous insurance claim. I found just about all of the receipts, took pictures of any other evidence I had (manuals, remote controls, original boxes etc.) and labeled each evidence page with a letter that corresponded to the item listed on the main claim list. So my video camera was A and the next page had the receipt (A1) and the photo (A2). I was so proud when I (finally) turned in my report! Reminded me of high school, staying up all night to finish a big English project. I may not have been organized enough to ever be done ahead of time, but I always pulled it off and got a good grade.
+++ All my nerdiness paid off! My insurance adjuster emailed yesterday and said I should have a check early next week. Woohoo!!!
