Twitterpated

I hate blog posts that start with: "I'm sorry I haven't updated in so long!" But...yeah. I'm an asshole.

I wish I could say I've been busy having fabulous adventures where there was no available internet access, but I've simply been stuck on my computer doing a ton of really mind-numbing cut & paste coding.

I'm trying to get a new blog project set up for a client. It's actually pretty interesting stuff for a geeky gal like me, just rather time-consuming. Blog platforms, including this one (courtesy of the wonderful folks at Blogger), have a lot of cool options that you can plug into them. This means a lot of cutting and pasting of various snippets of code that do different things and sometimes conflict with each other.

One cool snippet I came across is Twitter. I've added it to the sidebar >>> and I think it will be perfect for weeks like this when the last thing I want to do after working on my computer all day is sit down to write a lengthy blog post. I like to stay in touch, but I don't want to be a girl with one of those blogs that only has posts about what I had for dinner (pad thai) or what movie I last saw (Bourne Supremacy - awesome!!!).

Enter Twitter. It's perfect for those kind of blurbs and has some cool options for subscribing or "following" your favorite Twitterers. Totally free too, so you might want to check it out.
