Final Countdown

I pick my parents up at the airport in a few hours for our first visit since my big move. Housing is a lot more expensive out here, so I feel pressure not just to get my apartment tidied up, but also to make it look spectacularly luxurious. I'm already bracing for the, "You know, if you moved back home you could get the same place for half the price!" Yeah...and I'd also be covered in snow for half the year. No thanks!

I really can't complain; my parents are amazing and I know they only want the best for me. They're just not "city" people. Hopefully we'll get some sun this week and do some hiking or hit a golf course. I tried to warm up a couple of weeks ago by hitting the driving range. Yowtch! I was hitting nice and straight (except for my driver), but boy did I ever pay for it the next morning. I was sore in muscles I didn't even know I had. LOL How do you exercise your forearms? I felt like I'd been pumping iron in my sleep. I guess I just need to hit the links more often. And buy a rain jacket. =)
