In Vancouver
Just a quick note to say that I'm alive and loving Vancouver. I'm going out for a fancy schmancy dinner tonight courtesy of my brother-in-law (well, technically his boss). He's apparently quite the wine connoisseur so I'm looking forward to treating my ignorant palette to some good wine. I don't know much about wine, but I do know what I like and that's good enough for me!
One thing I've been wishing I had over the last couple of days is a new camera. I love my DSLR and my trusty Canon G5 will always have a special place in my heart after years of self-portraits and lugging its heavy, metal body all over the world. But, that heavy metal body also makes me leave it at home when I'm going out for a day of shopping on Robson with my sister. I'd love to snap a couple of pics, but not at the expense of my shoulder. My right shoulder is aching already because my purse is too heavy. That reminds me - don't forget to take out the bag of American change before you go shopping in Canada! Doh!

Hey Kris:
You've got to hit the Mondo Gelato franchise.
Wish I owned a franchise. Beats most of the gelato places in Edmonton.
