Cover of the Rolling Stone
I rarely buy the magazine, but this cover pic is so smoking hot that I might have to make an exception:
Bloody action flicks like Grindhouse usually aren't my cup of tea either. It's tough to watch a really animated Quentin Tarantino giving an interview and not be affected, at least a little bit, by his own excitement. Movie stars and directors do so many of those interviews while promoting their new projects; it's no surprise that you rarely see someone with the energy and delight that Tarantino displays. He's like a 10 year old kid bouncing around talking about his Christmas presents. That kind of joy is infectious and coupled with the fact that there are still drive-in's out here in the PNW, I'm pretty psyched to pop a batch of popcorn at home, pack a blanket & hit the drive-in for an old school double feature.
Movies will have to wait until I've kicked this cold to the curb though. The Easter bunny brought me the gift of sedatives - yesterday I didn't get out of bed and stay out of bed until 5:00 pm. I woke up throughout the day & had something to eat or let the puppies outside, but every inch of my body ached & moaned until I layed down again.
Today I'm feeling much better. I still sound awful & am hacking like a dog, but a little chest/head congestion I can handle. A stuffy head is Candyland compared to the all over body aches and shivers. Hopefully lots of oranges and warm tea will have me hopping around in no time.
