Transformers Trailer

Strolling through the aisles doing my Christmas shopping is a little more fun this year when I get to see displays of Optimus Prime standing a foot tall. I love that they're bringing back the toys from my childhood! My best friend had an older brother so we got to integrate our Barbie play with Transformers, He-Man (*loved* Castle Greyskull) & mass quantities of Lego. I had lots of my own Lego too (& still do) but her brother had the Star Wars sets & a permanent place to build - the seldom used ping pong table. It was awesome. And yes, I will definitely be geeking out opening weekend for the Transformers movie. =)

Other updates:
- tax stuff is done & I made my spreadsheets nice & shiny so next year the task won't be nearly as arduous
- I was invited to a school Christmas play tomorrow! Not the most rock star way to spend my birthday, but I'm pretty excited to watch my favorite 6 year old perform in a goose costume. If more of my friends have kids, I may never need to have children of my own. Being the hip aunt is perfect for me.

Speaking of xmas concerts, here's a little known fact for ya: when I was ten or eleven, I played Mary in my church Sunday school pageant. Granted I didn't have to do much (did I even have a line? hmmmmm), but it's a funny recollection nonetheless.
