Snow Sweet Snow

I'm home from my holiday but I think it will take awhile to adjust to the 3 feet of snow under my feet. I prefer sand, in case you were wondering. My camera, on the other hand, isn't such a big fan of sand. I noticed it was moving verrrry slowly while I was trying to snap pictures of myself on the beach & when looking at the results in the preview screen there were several red dots & lots of "corrupted data" error messages. It was time for a cleaning anyway, so I wasn't too concerned about the camera itself, but the pictures on it were another story. The first thing I did when I got home (well, after being mauled by the dogs...puppy kisses came first!) was upload my beach babe pictures & grinned a huge cheeky smile. They turned out great! I didn't lose too many to errors & they came out surprisingly well considering my remote control wouldn't work & I was balancing the camera on top of my beach bag. I had to lean in & set the self-timer on the back of the camera, then run out to pose for the picture - all with sandy fingers too!

I would love to go back to Dominican with a photographer to shoot on those empty beaches. I'm sure my girlfriend wouldn't have been offended if I'd asked her to take pictures of me, but it would've felt awkward and/or totally unproductive amidst mucho giggling.

I should have enough pictures to put together a little gallery for members. Keep an eye out for that tomorrow!

  • Great Pictures, I saved the last one for my desktop. I love the clouds and waves in the background almost as what is in the foreground

  • Thanks! I love that pic too. Would it be tacky to use my own pic as my desktop? lol
