Saturday Funnies

Thanks to Sage for brightening my morning! I used to read the Saturday morning comics while eating my cereal & trying to ignore what my mom was yakking about. She (still!) has the awful habit of feeling compelled to read anyone in earshot what *she* is reading in the newspaper, regardless of whether or not you're reading your own section. My sister now has a finely tuned skill of blocking out specific sounds, though I was never blessed with that talent.

I'm still not a morning person, but I do like my quiet routine of getting a bowl of cereal & reading my favorite blogs. I will rarely answer the phone if I get a call before this little ritual is finished. I'm just not awake & ready to talk to anyone until I know what my fave web girls are up to or what adorable cuteness has been added to Cute Overload. Now I need my morning fuzzies!
