My Sexy Movies Now in HDTV
After much trial & error, my first HDTV movie is now up on Kris Madison.com. Woohoo! At a full screen size of 1440 X 1080, the details look fantastic on my video editing computer. On my old workhorse box that I use for surfing & everything else? It plays a little choppy. Apparently an onboard video card from 5 years ago just can't handle videos that big. This is exactly what I was worried about when I bought my HD video camera, but it turns out that even after compressing the movie down to 640 X 480 it still looks as good or better than my previous "high quality" movies. And for the record, I thought those looked fab before!
So if you have an older computer, no worries - I'll still be offering 2 sizes for download. I'm not sure if there are still a lot of folks with dial up around, but I can also add a third smaller file size. Just let me know what works best for you.
I'm so excited to see what I can do with this camera (& this format) with proper lighting. My first movie is in front of a window, heavily backlit with very little light in the room & no professional lighting at all. Not exactly optimum shooting conditions. I can't wait to see how it does when I've got my lights set up!

Loved you HD, Kris! The video played back without glitches on my system, and it's a real pleasure seeing you in such detail - even if the lighting is not optimal, as you pointed out. Nice editing, though, and very nice - and fitting - choice of music! "Sexy girl", indeed! :-) Man, you really makes a guy wish he was Canadian... *sigh*
Oh, and on a slightly un-related note; the pic of your bum on top of the movie page on your site is just THE most perfect picture ever! I love it! :-)

OH, and just out of curiosity (and, well, a wee bit of jealousy *grin*) - you say you shoot your stills by yourself, but the videos are obviously shot by someone else. Who has the unique pleasure of capturing your beauty on videotape? :-)

Awesome! Glad to hear it worked. I'll be experimenting more with future videos. I'm dating someone who had the "unique pleasure" of filming that video for me. I'm hoping he'll be up for doing more videos for me & maybe pictures too. He's very private though so don't expect to see him in front of the camera. =)
