I've been crazy busy lately with a lot of fun projects. I was up until 7:00 a.m. last night installing & customizing a message board for a poker site I'm helping some friends set up. It feels really good to be excited about web work again, partly due to the technical challenge of installing software I've never used before & partly because I'm working in a niche that has nothing to do with porn or sex sites. I'm sure that working in the adult industry has held my attention longer than if I were doing marketing for a pharmaceutical company or something equally vanilla. But the break has been refreshing.

The other great part about my latest work has been getting to collaborate with other people. I'm doing some updates on an ATM company site (the one I shot photos for a couple of weeks ago). While I'm doing the work myself, it's nice to have someone to show my efforts to at the end of the day. With sex site marketing, I can't exactly phone up my friends & say, "Hey! Check out this awesome TGP gallery I built today!". Actually, I probably could. They wouldn't know what a TGP is, but some of my guy friends would certainly appreciate some free nude model pics!
